An artwork by Dutch new media artist Joseph Klibansky (26), was sold at a hammer price of 34.350 Euro at Sotheby’s Modern & Contemporary Art auction. This is a worldwide record price ever paid for work of such a young artist. The previous record was Damien Hirst with a comparable auction hammer price in 1996.
The piece, titled High Flyers (260x110cm), is part of Kiblansky new Urban Wonderland series.
