An oldie, as I think it was designed in 2009, but boy is it good! This clever and eye-catching print by Anthony Burrill. For sale in various web shops and on the website of Mr Burrill himself. ($65)

Loving this! A calendar that indicates the passing of days by ink absorbed by paper. One a day, the numbers are filled with ink until at the end of the month, the paper is full. Every month has its own color ink, representing the season. December for instance in blue, while spring is orange/red. (which in my book represents autumn actually) Unfortunately the calendar is not for sale, but was produced as a prototype for the London Design Festival. The design is by Oscar Diaz

London based, yet Mexican born designer Valentina Gonzalez Wohlers designed these wonderful rococo and cactus inspired Prickly Pair Chairs. Valentina makes clever use of the classical French oval chair originated in the Rococo period during the reign of Louis XV and the mother of all Mexican symbols; the cactus.
