Craig, Daniel Craig’s TriBeCa loft.

At a wopping $1694 per square foot this place better hide some gold or cash somewhere. I guess for NYC standards it is actually not too bad, but being used to already steep Amsterdam prices this does sound like a hefty price to pay. Especially considering the place has just one bedroom. No plans for family expansion just yet for ripped Mr Bond and his long time girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell. Guests will have to sleep on the sofa, but they do have their own full bath.

It looks gorgeous though.

Craig reportedly paid $1.900.000 for the place.

The GaGa princess of Bel Air

Despite hailing from the city that never sleeps, and therefore likely not counting Lalaland as an option, pop marvel Lady GaGa is renting west coast. According to rumour she is spending $25,000 a month on a 6 bedroom mansion high up in the hills above posh Bel Air, boasting stunning views of smog filled skies.

I hope she is going to glam up the place a bit as it looks very much unloved.  Stefani, as she is really called, has no intention to move there permanently and is not selling her NYC pad. It is merely a retreat for when she needs to be in California.

Mischa Barton puts her house on the Market. $8,395,000 and it’s yours!

Rumour has it the current financial crisis is hitting c-list celebrities too! Good Lord, where is this world going to. Our friends at The Real Estalker heard it first, but Mischa Barton is selling her home. Well, we all saw it coming really. What did she do after the OC? And wait, was she even in that the whole run? To be fair, she was OK in the OC. It was her love interest, not even bothered to IMDB his name, that got on my nerves. The house from the show was featured in one of Homevoyeurs’ Movie & TV home quizes.

But, hard times for Mischa means she has to put her house up for sale. And judging the pictures, this will not be an easy decision. Her house looks as if a lot of energy went into turning it into a villa one finds in the old country’s Tuscan Hills. It is in fact located in the Beverly Hills, and features 6 bathrooms and 10 bathrooms.

$8,395,000, or if you are good at haggling a bit less, and it can be yours. Now where is that thing that I use to check my bank balance…..

Vidal hopes to make a sale sas-soon

The wonderful queen of real estate gossip, the Real Estalker, wrote on her blog that mister Vidal Sassoon and his wife Rhonda (yes, wife, I was surprised too) have listed their 1950’s minimalist bungalow in the glitzy LA neighbourhood of Beverly Hills. The 6000 plus square feet bungalow (that’s 550 plus square meters for us normal folk) was designed by the noted architect to the stars Hal Levitt. This man designed many a house for many a movie star way back when Beverly Hills were still hills, Hancock Park was still a park and one could still breathe in fresh air in Bel Air.

The house has seen extensive renovations throughout the years. It still oozes 50’s architecture but I must say that for a man who does such wonders to hair, the house is a bit too bare for my likings.

It’s on the market for a staggering $17,500,000 but for that one buys a house previously owned by Her Royal Highness Princess Shams Pahlavi, the now deceased older sister of the last Shah of Iran. Not sure if that is actually enough of a reason for that hefty a price, but I know I’d be telling that to strangers in bars if it were my house.
