Anna Nicole Smith´s mansion on the market

Four years after the blonde bombshell´s untimely passing, her house has been put on the market. The big, ugly pinkish building is listed for a meager $1,75 million. This is still quite a wad of cash for most of us, but for a house in the Hollywood Hills of this size, and with these views, it´s a bit of a steal.

The house is currently owned by the estate of Anna Nicole, under the control of her lawyer Howard K. Stern and her holding company Hot Smoochie Lips Inc. Rumour has it that the house is put up for sale to pay for the care of Daniellynn, Anne Nicole´s baby with Larry Birkhead.

Christina’s Burlesque Crib

American InStyle magazine features the home of Grammy winning singer Christina Aguilera this month. The mediterranean-style (aren´t they all) mansion in Beverly Hills (where else) used to be owned by Ozzy Osbourne and was the stage for the reality soap around his family. Christina once stated she really didn’t like their style (I Loved it!) and was determined to erase any trace of it. She surely managed to put her own mark to it.

InStyle magazine describes it as Gothic, burlesque, Hollywood Regency and chinoiserie elements are juxtaposed with modern flourishes like graffiti artwork, Japanese anime and kaleidoscopic rugs. “I wanted every space to have its own personality,” According to Christina.

Hunky Gavin Newsom moves again

My loyal fans might remember my 2009 post about handsome former San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom selling his penthouse. He and actress wife Jennifer Siebel  apparently did not move to Sacramento as was suggested in the post, as he is now selling the home he bought shortly after selling aforementioned penthouse. The house is in Ashbury Heights, a wealthy neighbourhood of San Francisco.

Listing information describe the detached residence as 3,051 square feet over three floors with a total of 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The property was originally built in 1915 and some of the Edwardian architectural features are kept. It’s on the market for $2,750,000

with one kid, and another on the way, the couple likely wants the kids to have a room each on the same floor as their own.

Hunky brit actor sells his modest bungalow

So I heard from Big Mama, of Real Estalker fame, that Jason Statham, an actor we like for the very obvious reasons, is selling his Mid-Century architectural gem above the Sunset Strip.  Listing information shows it has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a swimming pool and a smallish yet private and secluded garden.  With 2281 square feet it is modestly sized. But the location is sure going to attract buyers who like to combine the hustle and bustle of the strip with the quiet and calm of the hills. I love those glass-wood-graphic-open style homes. This one reminds me a bit of the home of Colin Firth in A Single Man.
