For the price of what an average tent at Field Candy costs you can ‘buy’ a night in this inflatable Bubble Tree. For a mere £400 a night, tourists can spend an evening in one of these inflatable ‘tents’. Created by French designer Pierre Stephane Dumas, the structures are designed to get people as close to nature as possible… Downside is that other people are very close to you too….

Iconic Dutch architecture inspires Hotel in Zaandam

Check out this interesting hotel design by Dutch architecture firm WAM architecten. The design looks like a pile of typical green wooden houses stacked on top of each other. It’s the new Inntel Hotel Amsterdam in Zaandam, a town North of Amsterdam. The 4-star hotel has 160 rooms and a total of 11 floors.

What do you think?

Floor plan porn…..

Look at this magnificent apartment. It’s the Penthouse of the mother of all real estate pearls; 15 Central Park West. To be fair, it’s ‘just’ the penthouse of the lower part. But it faces Central Park, and has terraces overlooking it on pretty much all sides. Hence it’s rather steep asking price of $88.000.000….. That means Greece couldn’t afford it.

Prefab garden shed / greenhouse / guesthouse

This lovely green house Garden shed is designed by architect Ville Hara and designer Linda Bergroth for Kekkilä Garden’s Home & Garden collection. It’s a prefabricated garden shed combined with a greenhouse that easily doubles as a guesthouse. It can be assembled by simply using a screwdriver.  The Garden Shed, made from Finnish pine and safety glass, was launched in 2010 and was awarded with the Garden Product of the Year prize.
